Things Fall Apart
Finding ourselves in such a truly grim political situation here in the US, the task of building an authentically national right seems almost impossible. How much more depressing it is then to see the French nationalist right disintegrate like a bunch of squabbling Trotskyites into multiple competing grouplets. Multiculturalism – Islamic-Style
As if the appalling, indiscriminate mass murder in Mumbai was not enought, thousands of Muslims in Egypt are continuing the on-again, off-again persecution of that country’s Coptic Christian minority, assaulting a recently-established church in Cairo. (See here for more.)
Meanwhile, in Nigeria, Muslims angry at their electoral defeat in a city located in an area between the country’s the mainly-Muslim north and the mainly-Christian south sparked days of rioting and killing.
Still, to be fair, the Muslims don’t get to have all the fun. In India, Hindu fundamentalists have been murdering Christians in the state of Orissa. During the past 3 months as many os 500 have been murdered and tens of thousands forced into refugee camps.
Where are these guys when you need them?
Violence Continues in Iraq Mexico

A mob-style shooting Friday night in an upscale seafood restaurant in Juárez left eight people dead… Channel 56-XHJUB in Juárez reported that a group of men with AK-47s entered the restaurant, approached men sitting at a table and fired more than 100 rounds….
The restaurant shooting was the second multiple killing in Juárez this week. Seven men were shot execution-style Tuesday next to a school soccer field.
More than 40 homicides have occurred [in and around Juarez] since Monday and more than 1,350 killings so far this year…
Newspeak – LA-Style
In the previous incarnation of FaceRight, I often blogged about the on-going Black vs. Latino conflict in LA. Cruising YouTube recently I came across this CBS report on the issue from some months ago. While it doesn’t really tell us anything much new, I just had to comment on its oh-so sensitive characterization of SoCal’s murderous ethnic warriors as “emotional gangs”. Now, you might think of an “emotional gang” as a group of kinder, gentler thugs, but, in fact, it is a gang specifically dedicated to waging race war, rather than to selling drugs, shaking down business owners or any of the other usual money-making pursuits of the typical urban mob. In short, try as she may to obscure the fact, what the CBS reporter calls “emotional gangs” are in fact ethnic militias. (Which is something, of course, that can never be acknowledged, since it might suggest that the multicultural paradise which is LA might really be a pretty rough garden of eden after all.)
